Spot welding

Spot welding is the most commonly used form of resistance welding. Usually it is used to weld various sheet metals with reduced thickness. The weld is discontinued and limited to one or more spots, where the work pieces usually overlap. It is produced by the generation of heat and pressure, without filler metal.

Spot welding electrodes

We are capable to produce any electrode according drawing or sample.

Electrode caps

We have a large stock of standard electrode ISO caps from size A to G with a diameter of 13 to 20 mm. If you are looking for a special type of electrode, please let us know and we will look at what kind of options we could offer you. Please find under products our standard electrode caps.

Swivel electrodes

These electrodes with a flexible head can be direct or indirectly cooled. We can produce both according to your demand.

Electrode holders

Electrodes need a holder in Brocadur® copper alloys like brass, E-cu, CuCrZr (the high conductivity alloys). We will ask you to forward your design or sample, so that we are able to offer you attractive prices.

Laminated shunts

Each spot-welding machine contains a laminated shunt, or an air/water cooled cable. This current lead normally has a long lifespan but when it needs to be replaced, we could offer you a new one or we could check/investigate if the part can be repaired.

Brocadur® high performance alloys

For spot welding electrodes we offer Brocadur® copper alloys like CuCrZr, CuCoBe, CuCoNiBe which you can find in the data sheet under downloads on the right hand side.
